Elizabeth Goor - Board Chair (Volunteer)

Elizabeth is an experienced Montessori educator and school leader with a strong commitment to ethical, student-centred practice. Since mid-2023, she has served as Chairperson of the Montessori Noosa School Board, guiding governance with integrity, transparency, and a deep respect for community trust.

Elizabeth’s professional background spans early childhood, primary, and adolescent Montessori program development, with expertise in master planning, quality improvement, curriculum design, wellbeing, and the development of student agency. She is recognised for creating cohesive, high-quality learning environments grounded in relational trust and ethical decision-making.

With extensive experience in strategic planning, research, and Montessori teacher development, Elizabeth works collaboratively with leadership, staff, families, and community partners to ensure that every child’s voice, growth, and holistic development remain central to the school’s mission.

Charles Boulo - Director (Volunteer)

Charles brings over ten years of experience working with organisations across education, government, and the private sector, with a strong focus on building trust, managing risk, improving communication, and supporting people through change. His background in technology and stakeholder engagement helps him contribute practical, down-to-earth support to school projects, planning, and parents community initiatives.

As a parent at Montessori Noosa, Charles is committed to supporting the school’s growth and helping create a positive, inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.

Selda Coklu Nolan

Selda Coklu Nolan - Director (Volunteer)

Selda joins the Montessori Noosa Board with extensive international experience as an Early Childhood Specialist and Montessori educator. She is currently a Doctor of Education (EdD) candidate at QUT, where her research focuses on the intersection of Montessori principles and Inclusive Education. Holding an AMI Primary Diploma (3-6) and a Master of Education, Selda brings a rigorous pedagogical perspective to the Board’s strategic planning.

Selda aligns deeply with the school’s goal of creating a “community ecosystem” that supports diversity and connection. She leverages her expertise in inclusive education to ensure that Montessori Noosa continues to be a place where every student is supported to find their individual purpose and develop the depth of character required to positively change their world.
