Teacher
I am delighted to welcome you and your children to Montessori Noosa.
I was born and raised in Brazil, but I have always felt that the world is my home. Over the years, I have lived in several countries, including the United States, Mexico, England, Italy, and now Australia, which has been my home for the past three years. These experiences have shaped my worldview and deepened my appreciation for diversity, culture, and community — values I bring into the classroom every day.
With over a decade of experience in primary education, I feel deeply grateful to guide young children during such an important stage of their development. I hold an AMS Montessori qualification and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, having completed Positive Discipline training for Early Childhood Educators in both Australia and the United States. In addition, I am a recognised yoga teacher, which enriches my work with children by supporting mindfulness, body awareness, and emotional regulation in the classroom.
My approach is grounded in respect, connection, and trust. I am passionate about nurturing not only children’s academic growth, but also their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Maria Montessori once said, “Free the child’s potential, and you will transform him into the world.” This philosophy inspires my work every day. I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn at their own pace — surrounded by time, space, love, and trust.
It is a privilege to partner with families and to celebrate each child’s unique journey of growth and discovery.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures, connecting with nature, exploring vegan cuisine, and practicing yoga.
I look forward to an inspiring year of learning together.
